Digital Check-In Can Boost Efficiency
Accushield Mobile works with the Accushield Kiosk to create a fast, touchless sign-in experience with QR code recognition. After signing in through the mobile app, users simply need to scan their unique QR code at the kiosk to complete their check-in process. It’s that simple!
Not only does Accushield Mobile save time for visitors, staff and residents, digital check-in helps optimize entry management and improves your facility reputation.

With this newest update, Residents and Volunteers can now use Accushield mobile. Not only that, we also created unique sign-in flows for these individual user types.
We understand that a senior living community is more than just a building to residents – it is home. With this in mind, we personalized our mobile sign-in flow for residents to create a positive, welcoming experience when returning from an outing and made volunteer check-in straightforward and simple.
Key Highlights:
Resident Sign-In Flow
- Personalized sign-in welcoming residents home
- List of previous destinations upon sign-out for ease of use
- Ability to select expected date/time of return
- Sign-in or sign-out from anywhere in the building (unless temperature capture is enabled for residents)
Volunteer Sign-In Flow
- Simple and straightforward sign-in through the app
Please note, volunteers need to have created an account on the kiosk under the volunteer category to sign in as a volunteer on mobile.

Driver’s License Scan Advances Data Collection
We understand the importance of safety and security in senior living.
We are proud to introduce Driver’s License Scan to allow you to more accurately capture the details of your visitors, vendors, volunteers, and staff. Once enabled, the kiosk will collect a visitor’s First Name, Last Name, and home address when the Driver’s License is scanned. These details can be located in the Accushield Dashboard when exporting the visitor log. For staff, you can locate their address details within their staff profile.
Driver’s License scan is also a more efficient way for staff to sign in. With this new feature, staff members can simply scan the barcode on the back of their license to complete their check-in process.

Pro-Tip: Don’t forget! Staff can use Permanent QR Codes associated to their account for quick sign-in.
