“I believe that every third-party healthcare provider that serves a senior resident should meet a standard level of credentialing requirements – Accushield helps us accomplish this goal.” – Alex Salabarria, CEO Oaks Senior Living.
Modern Assisted Living Communities have been around since the ’80s and continue to be considered a soft target and vulnerable environment by law enforcement. With the onset of COVID-19, these communities have become even more at-risk. This is why visitor management in senior living is a growing concern amongst operators. This is where Accushield comes in. Not only are we continuing to protect the safety of the members, we have also implemented features like a touch-less thermometer and COVID-19 screening questions to ensure the health of members, staffs and visitors.
Accushield adds security to senior living communities by helping operators know who is in the building at all times. The Accushield visitor management system captures a photo of each person who enters Assisted Living Communities. When a guest signs-in with the Accushield tablet-based kiosk at the front desk, the visitor is prompted to input their first name, last name, and resident they are visiting. If they are a third-party care provider, they are required to input the agency they work for and the service category. All of these users are also screened for there temperature and required to answer COVID-19 screening questions that the operator chooses to include which can be questions that are locally required or CDC recommended. Every visitor who signs-in and passes the screening process is instantly printed a name badge giving senior living operators validation that the person signed-in. In addition, the Accushield kiosk automatically takes two pictures of each visitor who signs-in. These photos are stored with the visitor data and can quickly be accessed by staff via a web-based community dashboard.
Having digital visitor data and photos of everyone who enters a senior living community gives operators and staff an easy way to monitor who comes and goes. Accushield is what ensures these living communities are safe and healthy for members, staff, and visitors.
