Belmont Village Senior Living was already using Accushield to manage visitor sign-ins across its communities. The system was familiar to staff, easy to use, and fully integrated into daily operations.

When Belmont Village decided to activate Accushield’s third-party credentialing solution, Verify, the rollout was simple and fast. Because Accushield was already in place, there was no new technology to install and no operational disruption. A brief training aligned teams and Verify was enabled across all buildings.

Verify added an important layer of security by confirming required credentials—such as criminal background checks, insurance, and immunizations—for outside care providers and vendors before they entered the community.

As Chief Operating Officer, Doug Lessard explains:

“Belmont does extensive background checks on all of its employees and vendors. But for vendors that are new to a community, we sometimes have no way of identifying them beforehand. With Accushield, we have the certification process, which gives us and our residents and staff better peace of mind.”

Verify activation was simple:

According to Belmont Village leadership, Verify closed an important security gap—particularly for new or unfamiliar third-party providers—while reinforcing the same high standards Belmont already applies to employees and known vendors.

The result was immediate peace of mind for residents, families, and staff, along with a stronger, more consistent security posture across every community.
