Flex Marketplace – Free to Use!
We are proud to share an exciting new update to our Accushield Flex product that gives all communities access to part of our premium Flex feature – free of charge! With this update, the Flex Dashboard has been optimized with a new landing page with the ability to navigate to Marketplace or Scheduling. Flex Marketplace equips your community with the most basic features of Flex and gives your community free access to a network of agencies which you can view based on a variety of different factors including price and rating.
The division of Flex Marketplace and Scheduling also improves functionality for existing Flex customers with optimized data collection and reporting. Now, you are equipped with 2 designated reports for agency staffing and internal staff scheduling so you can evaluate your agency staffing and internal staff scheduling needs individually. This provides greater insights on your community’s internal/external staffing needs.
What is the Flex Marketplace?
While the goal of Flex is to reduce agency spend as much as possible by fulfilling more shifts with internal staff members, there will be times that agency staffing is needed. Flex Marketplace offers a better shift fulfillment solution than manually contacting agencies and being at their mercy for pricing and availability. Through a centralized labor pool, you can quickly review agencies you would like to employ based on many different factors, including price and rating.
With Flex Marketplace, you can now:
- Send a shift to all available agency workers in your area
- Select specific agencies to send your shift to
- Select specific agency workers to request for the shift.
All of these options go directly to the agency and/or agency worker, and they can accept the shift through the Accushield Flex platform.
What is Flex Scheduling?
Flex Scheduling is the premium version of Accushield Flex, and it equips you with the ability to schedule staff, create open shifts, and send shift requests to agency workers in the Marketplace. With Flex Scheduling, your team is empowered with the ability to browse, self-schedule, and accept shifts directly from their phones which can boost workforce retention and improve team satisfaction.

Staff Roster Management – Simplified.
We are also excited to announce that your Staff Roster has been enhanced with simplified screens to streamline staff management for your community. Starting today, all staff account information can be accessed in one, centralized location in the dashboard so that you can easily update/view staff information.
Key Highlights:
- Simplified screens to view, create, and update staff information in one place
- Advanced filter capabilities to quickly sort and view staff data
- Additional profile fields to support insights reporting and to take advantage of Accushield premium features
Navigate to the “Staff” tab in your Dashboard to experience your new and improved Staff Roster.

Accurately track who is in your building – 2 New Visitor Categories
- Tours: Easily track when a prospect resident has signed in with visit notifications, tour insights through the Dashboard, and post-tour follow up through Connect and Reputation Accelerator.
- Patient/ Adult Day care Participants: Simple patient or adult day participant registration. This visitor category could also be used for other purposes, like tracking job candidates and will have multiple configuration capabilities.
